Summary:
Our light and airy coastal retreat is a holiday escape for young and old. 4 bedrooms sleeping 10, 3.5 bathrooms (1 with bath), two separate living areas perfect for families and groups, open-plan modern kitchen and large indoor/outdoor dining areas (including three balconies) are an entertainer’s dream.
The Space:
Karibu (“welcome” in Swahili) to our beach house located only two minutes’ walk from the south coast’s most desirable beach! With breathtaking 180-degree panoramic views of the Southern Ocean, our bright and immaculate home is designed for coastal holiday living and contains hints of our family’s Zanzibar coastal heritage in East Africa, creating a special space for families & friends to breathe and connect only an hour from Adelaide.
Relax and play with new smart TVs with unlimited Wi-Fi and Netflix in the 2 living areas, ducted heating and cooling, a master bedroom with king bed and ensuite, two bedrooms with queen beds (one with ensuite), and a kids/young adults’ bedroom with four beds (two x bunk beds) plus two additional bathrooms. Our large, fully equipped kitchen and massive gas BBQ are an entertainer’s delight, providing connection around the indoor and outdoor dining areas overlooking the sea & sunset.
Our home is set up to cater for your beach or cycling holiday: when you return at the end of the day, use our dedicated rinse station and enclosed grassed backyard to keep your bikes, boards and towels drying securely for tomorrow’s adventures. Karibu!..

Getting Around:
Once you’ve drunk your fill of the panoramic sea views, the beach is only two minutes’ walk away. Wind your way down our quiet cul-de-sac to pretty Hayborough beach, via a dedicated footpath. Popular with swimmers of all ages due to protection by Oliver’s Reef, the beach also has reliable waves for beginners.
The cycling and walking available in the area is some of the best in Australia: the 30km Coastal Encounter bikeway is just outside your front door. Keep your bikes inside or out in our secure backyard: there is plenty of room in this cycle-friendly home.
With a bakery, coffee, wood-oven pizza and deli located less a block away, you’re spoiled for choice for food. Coles is available for a supply run five minutes’ drive away, and with Adelaide only an hour away, this is a perfect getaway for those needing retreat, outdoor activities, recharging and adventure.
We supply everything but you and your food: linens, a coffee pod machine (and a plunger if you prefer!) are waiting for you.

Damage Deposit -
By booking our property you are agreeing to pay a $500 damage bond, this will be charged to the payment method you submit for your booking. A 2.5% CC fee will be added to the charge and will not be refunded. After you checkout please send us your bank details and we will direct deposit the $500 back, permitting no damage has been made.
Check in form -
By booking our property you are agreeing to filling in our checkin form is sent out to all guests upon booking confirmation. Guests are required to submit a form of government identification (passport, drivers license, proof of age), and information about their stay. Failure to fill in our check in form will result in check in details not being sent out.
Interaction with Guests:
