Overlooking the beach at Middleton Bay - The sea views don't get any better than this and it is whale season! Whether summer or winter sit back, relax and watch the waves and the dolphins and seals from the large front lounge room windows or front lawn. You will be 'blown away' by the stunning view and this comfortable beach house has everything you need for a relaxing beach holiday. Whales play in the bay out the front of the house and are usually there in June, July, August and September.

This is a beach lover's paradise and is meters from the beach that is immediately in front of the house with no passing traffic. It is the ultimate in relaxation and is a great couples or single person's get away. It is a few minutes walk to the beautiful and secluded Basham's beach as well as Middleton's famous surfing beach. Sleeps max of 4 people, (1 Queen bed and one double bed). Min 2 night stay except minimum 3 night stay over Easter and long weekends.

Cleaners have completed the Covid-19 training course as outlined on the Government website. All surfaces disinfected and house thoroughly cleaned after each stay.

Modern BBQ on the front porch offers great views while you cook and is great for outdoor meals. The location is a great spot for keen surfers.

A few minutes walk to Middleton township and Middleton bakery and coffee shops. A five minute drive to the quaint town of Pt Elliot and the stunning Horseshoe Bay with its beach front cafes and restaurants. The township of Goolwa is ten minutes in the other direction with the Goolwa Markets, cafes, art galleries and brewery on the wharf.

Whale Watching

During the whale watching season the cottage offers fantastic views of the whales from the comfort of your lounge room. Watch the whales as they breach and play in the ocean directly in front of the cottage.

Other sea life, dolphins and seals, can be seen at all times of the year and frolicking not more than 50 meters from the cottage.

Explore the local attractions

This is the ideal place to relax or do a bit of local site seeing. Situated half way between Victor Harbour with all its attractions such as Granite Island, the horse drawn tram, the Whale Centre and the Cockle train; and Goolwa with Hindmarsh Island, Sunday markets, cruises, wineries and great cafes and restaurants.

The fantastic coast line offers great opportunities for surfing and walking and bike riding along coastal bike tracks.

The Fleurieu Peninsula has many attractions.

Please note : Linen is not provided with the property . BYO sheets, towels and t-towels. Doonas, pillows, blankets etc are all provided. Beds are one queens sized in the main bedroom and a double in the middle room. It is not suitable for four single people. We do not allow pets. We will email you to arrange key access, please read this important information.

The house is suitable for children over 8 and is not toddler friendly.
