Or for the more adventurous, fish the barrage, Beacon 19, Murray Mouth, Coorong or surf-fish the 11km of pristine Goolwa Beach, fully accessible by 4WD.
A two minute drive (or ten minute walk) from The Admiral Riverside will have you at Goolwa Beach – one of the most beautiful and untouched parts of the South Australian coastline.
Head down the ramp and onto the beach itself and drive on the perfect white sand beach for 11kms to the Murray Mouth – the end of Murray River, the entrance to the Coorong and home to a colony of seals and numerous school fish which move freely through this unique and pristine channel which is not accessible by any other means.
