This clean, tidy and comfortable 4 Bedroom home is within a short walk to the Port Elliot. Coffee shops and the iconic Pt Elliot Bakery are minutes away on foot, as are restaurants, the main street of Port Elliot and of course, the beach! Walk out the front gate, turn left then left again and you're five minutes (three at a jog) from Boomer Beach. Our favourite walk tracks East along the beach, up the rocks at Knights, and around the coast, past Green Bay and around to Horseshoe Bay then on to the Stand for a coffee at Thunderbird or Cockles. Then it's a 10 minute meander back home along the main street.
Our ratings are stunning and the common comment is 'the photos don't do it justice!' We need to take some more photos! To be honest, when we're down there, relaxation mode kicks in, a glass of wine gets poured and taking photos is the last thing we think of!
Our 'home away from home' offers family comfort with lots of beds (11) along with 2 living spaces to keep everyone happy. There are quilts and pillows on each bed, but we ask that you provide your own linen and towels.
The Kitchen is well appointed with gas oven, microwave and all the pots and pans you'll need to cook at home. The living room has a beautiful fire that warms up the house in an instant making this the perfect summer and winter holiday home. Plenty of wood is in the shed.
We now have new carpet throughout (sorry If you liked Grandma's carpet).
There are plenty of games, puzzles, books and a table tennis table for family fun. The games room is a constant hit with our guests with table tennis, a cards table and TV and DVD player.
Out the back we have a generous back yard with clothes line (yes - a Hills Hoist) with a beautiful lawn and a lemon and orange tree you can help yourself to when fruiting. The back is appointed with outdoor table, chairs and a BBQ if you want to eat outside and listen to the quiet but constant sound of waves crashing on the beach just over the hill.
2 night minimum stay. No extra charges for more than 2 guests! Yes, you read that right! We can't stand the extra sneaky per person costs we get hit with when we book holidays so we have decided we won't do that to you!
No parties - we love our neighbours and they are permanent residents.
